Privacy in plain language.

1. Who operates Dateposit

Dateposit is owned and operated by Barron Sovereign Capital LLC (“Dateposit,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy applies to the public website, web app, private invite experience, support processes, and related services.

2. Information we collect

Contact and account information

Name, email address, mobile number, account identifiers, age/eligibility confirmations, support communications, and information you provide when creating or accepting a plan.

Plan and transaction information

Venue, date/time, commitment level, authorization status, service-fee status, payment-provider identifiers, settlement status, Vault Credit records, Reliability Score events, cancellations, check-ins, and dispute records.

Payment information

Payment providers such as Stripe handle card credentials. Dateposit may receive payment tokens/identifiers, status, card brand/last four digits when available, authorization/capture/release status, dispute records, and other information needed to operate and reconcile payments. Dateposit should not store full card numbers unless a compliant payment architecture expressly requires it.

Device and security information

IP address, browser/device information, timestamps, authentication events, security logs, and signals used to prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and protect accounts.

Location and check-in information

When arrival verification is required, Dateposit may request temporary browser-based GPS access. Precise location is intended for the check-in event and related fraud/dispute handling—not continuous tracking. If GPS is unreliable, an approved manual code flow may be used. Coordinates, codes, timestamps, IP/device signals, and related records may be retained when reasonably necessary for disputes, chargebacks, fraud prevention, security, and legal obligations.

3. Why we use information

• Create and secure accounts and private single-use invite links.
• Present plan terms and record each person's acceptance.
• Process/support authorization holds, service fees, releases, captures, reversals, and disputes.
• Verify arrival through approved check-in methods.
• Calculate account-history features such as Reliability Score where applicable.
• Issue, clear, use, reverse, and audit Vault Credits and approved rewards.
• Detect payment abuse, account takeover, duplicate accounts, spoofing, code manipulation, and other fraud.
• Send required service communications and permitted optional messages.
• Provide support, enforce Terms, and comply with lawful requests.

4. Precise location

Precise geolocation can be sensitive personal information under applicable privacy laws. Dateposit's intended use is narrow: verify arrival, prevent check-in abuse, investigate disputes, and meet legal/security obligations. Dateposit should not sell precise check-in location, use it for unrelated targeted advertising, or collect it continuously.

When location permission is requested, the interface should explain why it is needed at that moment. Where available, users can use the approved manual code fallback if GPS is unreliable and both people are present.

5. SMS and mobile information

Mobile numbers, SMS opt-in records, and consent data are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing/promotional purposes. We may provide necessary information to service providers that deliver messages on our behalf. See the SMS Terms for program details and opt-out instructions.

6. Service providers and disclosures

We may disclose information to service providers for payment processing, messaging, hosting, security, email, analytics when actually enabled, support, and digital reward fulfillment. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to enforce agreements, investigate fraud or safety issues, respond to payment disputes, protect rights and security, complete a corporate transaction, or comply with law. Service providers receive information only for the purposes reasonably necessary to perform their role.

7. Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising

Dateposit does not sell personal information for money and does not intend to sell or share precise check-in location for cross-context behavioral advertising. If our data practices change in a way that triggers additional privacy rights, we will provide the notices and choices required by applicable law.

8. Vault Credits and Reliability Score data

Dateposit may use account history, cancellations, check-ins, disputes, fraud events, and related records to calculate Reliability Score and determine eligibility for Vault Credits or account restrictions. Users should have a support path to challenge an event they believe is incorrect. Dateposit should not use Reliability Score as a consumer credit score or represent it as a measure of safety or identity.

9. Data retention

We retain information for only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, including account operation, payment reconciliation, fraud prevention, dispute/chargeback defense, legal compliance, tax/accounting, and security. Different records require different periods. Dateposit should maintain an internal written retention schedule, including specific periods for precise location/check-in logs, payment records, support records, and deleted accounts.

When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete, deidentify, or securely dispose of it, subject to backups and lawful retention requirements.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the service. No system is completely secure, and Dateposit cannot guarantee that unauthorized access will never occur. Users are responsible for protecting their accounts, devices, authentication codes, and private invite links.

11. Privacy rights

Depending on where you live and whether a particular law applies to Dateposit, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, information about disclosures, opt-out of certain sales/sharing, or limits on certain sensitive-data uses. You may also have a right to appeal some decisions. Requests can be sent to Privacy@Dateposit.com. We may verify identity before acting on a request and may retain information when an exception applies.

12. Adults only

Dateposit is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly allow minors to create or accept protected plans. If we learn that an under-18 user supplied personal information, we will take appropriate steps consistent with law and safety.

13. International use and transfers

Dateposit and its service providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate. If Dateposit expands into jurisdictions requiring specific transfer mechanisms or local representatives, we will implement the measures required before offering the applicable service.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service or law changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required.
