Can I request private beta access before launch?
Yes. The Dateposit Private Beta page lets you request early access before public launch, select your strongest use case, choose the commitment level you would use first, and tell us whether you would send a Dateposit link within the next 30 days.
What is Dateposit?
Dateposit is a web-based invite accountability platform for real-world plans. A host creates a protected invite, authorizes a refundable commitment hold, and receives a private single-use link to send to one guest.
How does a single-use invite link work?
After the host locks the invite, Dateposit generates a private link. The host copies and sends it manually. The link can be accepted once. After the intended guest accepts, that link is locked and cannot be reused.
Does Dateposit send the invite to the guest?
No. The host receives the private link and chooses where to send it: text message, dating app chat, social DM, email, group chat, booking conversation, or business thread.
Do guests need to download an app?
No. Guests open the private single-use link in their browser, review the event details, verify their phone number, authorize their matching hold, and later check in from the mobile web experience.
Is Dateposit only for dating?
No. Dateposit can be used for dating, coffee, dining, social media meetups, freelance work, appointments, service bookings, business meetings, real estate showings, creator collaborations, private events, and certified commitments.
What is a commitment hold?
A commitment hold is the refundable amount each side authorizes to prove the plan is real. If both sides complete check-in under the rules, the holds are released according to processor timelines.
Is the service fee part of the commitment hold?
No. The service fee is separate from the commitment hold. It helps cover payment processing, verification, messaging, and platform costs, and it is disclosed before the invite is locked.
What is the 4-hour cancellation window?
Dateposit uses a strict 4-hour cancellation matrix. A cancellation with more than 4 hours' notice is treated as a safe cancellation. A cancellation within 4 hours of the scheduled commitment is treated as a late cancellation under the platform Terms.
What happens if someone cancels more than 4 hours before?
A safe cancellation with more than 4 hours' notice results in release of the commitment hold and no penalty. The separate service fee remains retained if it has already been charged.
What happens if someone cancels within 4 hours?
A late cancellation within the 4-hour window is a protocol violation. The canceling party may forfeit 100% of the stake and service fee and receive a permanent 10-point deduction from their Reliability Score.
What happens when both people check in?
When both people arrive and complete verified GPS check-in within the 15-minute grace period, the meetup is treated as fulfilled. The commitment holds release according to processor timelines and the invite moves into the completed history state.
What happens if someone no-shows?
A no-show occurs when a party fails to execute the required GPS check-in at the venue. The no-show party may forfeit 100% of the stake and service fee and receive a permanent 10-point deduction from their Reliability Score.
What are Vault Credits?
Vault Credits are closed-loop Dateposit platform credits. They may be awarded for platform compliance or as an eligible remedy when a counterparty breaches a locked commitment, such as a late cancellation or no-show.
How do users get Vault Credits?
A reliable party may receive eligible Vault Credits after the other party no-shows or cancels within the 4-hour penalty window. Credits are subject to settlement review, fraud checks, chargeback clawbacks, and the mandatory T+7 clearing period described in the Terms.
What can Vault Credits be used for?
Vault Credits can be used to fund future Dateposit stakes or exchanged for approved third-party digital gift card rewards inside the Dateposit Reward Center, subject to the platform Terms and reward availability.
Are Vault Credits cash?
No. Vault Credits are closed-loop platform credits. They are not fiat currency, cannot be withdrawn to a bank account, cannot be exchanged for cash, and have no monetary value outside Dateposit.
When can a prevailing party use captured funds?
If a counterparty no-shows or cancels late, captured funds and/or eligible Vault Credits may be credited to the prevailing party's pending ledger and remain subject to a mandatory T+7 clearing period before use, approved redemption, or payout eligibility under the Terms. Vault Credits themselves are not cash and cannot be withdrawn to a bank account.
Does Dateposit perform background checks or guarantee safety?
No. Dateposit does not conduct criminal background checks, provide physical security, manage physical events, or guarantee user safety. Users are responsible for taking reasonable precautions and assume the risks of real-world meetups.
Is Dateposit a bank or escrow agent?
No. Dateposit is a software platform owned and operated by Barron Sovereign Capital LLC. Payment authorization, capture, release, credits, rewards, and payout availability depend on the applicable Terms, verification rules, and third-party payment infrastructure.
